Solutions matched to the duty

Correct pump selection starts with the fluid, solids content, flow rate, head, temperature and operating environment. Our range covers dynamic and positive-displacement duties, with specialist options for abrasive and high-solids applications.

Heavy-duty slurry pump

Slurry Pumps

Heavy-duty pumps engineered to move abrasive, high-density mixtures in mining, mineral processing and industrial duties.

Dredge pump

Dredge & Gravel Pumps

Robust handling of sand, gravel, silt and coarse solids for dredging, tunnelling, construction and aggregate operations.

Delin centrifugal slurry pump

Centrifugal & slurry systems

Centrifugal slurry pump options for abrasive solids transfer, selected around the medium, flow and head.

Blue centrifugal pump

Blue centrifugal pumps

Centrifugal pump options for water transfer and compatible industrial applications. Confirm the duty, materials and spares required.

Submersible slurry pumps

Submersible Pumps

Compact pumping systems designed to operate below fluid level for drainage, sewage, slurry and dewatering applications.

Pump impeller and wear components

Pump selection

Tell us what the pump must handle

The fastest route to a reliable recommendation is accurate duty information. Share the following details and our team can help narrow down the correct pump type, materials and configuration.

Required flow rate and total dynamic head
Fluid type, density, viscosity and temperature
Solids concentration and maximum particle size
Installation, drive, seal and material requirements
Pump questions

Before you specify a pump

What information do you need to select a pump?

Send the required flow rate and total dynamic head, fluid temperature, density and viscosity, plus any solids size and concentration. Include the suction arrangement, pipe route and available power supply if known.

Can the same pump handle water and abrasive slurry?

Not necessarily. Solids can change wear, hydraulic performance and the required clearances. Slurry applications need an assessment of the particles, concentration, material selection and service conditions.

How do I request replacement spares?

Send clear photographs of the nameplate and component, the manufacturer and model, serial number and any part numbers. Compatibility must be confirmed before ordering.

Do you offer Kingda, Galleon and Delin options?

These are the pump manufacturers included in our sourcing brief. Contact Valve Technics to confirm a suitable product, current availability and the scope of supply for your project.

Why is flow rate alone not enough?

The pump must also overcome elevation and pipe-system losses. The duty point needs to be checked against the appropriate performance curve, along with the suction conditions and fluid properties.

Can you quote from an existing pump?

Yes—send the nameplate, current operating duty and the reason for replacement. A like-for-like model still needs to be checked against the actual application.

Need help selecting a pump?

Send us your duty point, application details or existing pump information.
